A dwelling with almost 500 years of history, with richly decorated rooms that still exude a strong domestic atmosphere, and a romantic garden that inspired Wagner at the conclusion of his "Parsifal". The soul of Beatrice Branciforte, the first female count of Sicily, Villa Tasca is a splendid lived-in house with an informal garden of exotic plants, rich in decorative architectural elements, artificial hills, and water features.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Built in the 16th century by Aloisio Beccadelli di Bologna, the villa was once surrounded by a vast 80 hectare park in the territory of Mezzomonreale. The vast interior halls, decorated with stuccoes and frescoes, feature magnificent majolica floors, true late Baroque pictorial works of art. Among classical ruins painted on the walls and openings towards imaginative landscapes, the dialogue between house and surrounding nature unfolds in continuous interpenetration. Outside, a garden rich in plants from the five continents, a true journey around the world. A house much loved by its owners, as evidenced by family photos and memories of the many illustrious guests who admired its interiors, from Paola of Belgium to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, from Richard Burton to Renata Tebaldi. Setting of important television series, including the recent "The White Lotus" and "Il Gattopardo", today Villa Tasca is one of the very few examples of perfectly preserved patrician houses, along with the majestic park, throughout the Palermitan countryside.
